The George Inn is celebrating the return of its annual car fest, Noggin, Nosh and Natter, at the Longbridge Deverill traditional country pub on Wednesday 27 July. Longbridge Deverill is a village and civil parish about 2.5 miles south of Warminster in Wiltshire, England. It is on the A350 primary route which connects the M4 motorway and west Wiltshire with Poole, Dorset.

The George Inn will be hosting the 33rd edition of the mid-week classic car show with car enthusiasts of all ages and local residents welcome to join the celebrations from 6pm.

Since its inception in 1983, Noggin, Nosh and Natter has become the largest mid-week car rally in the UK. The much-loved event for vintage vehicles attracts fans from across the UK to see an impressive range of motors including classic cars, motorcycles and military and public transport vehicles from all eras of the twentieth century, including the Austin 7 and 7 Tonne Scammell.

The event itself will host three outside bars and a specially created Classics Set Menu, for likeminded people to enjoy their favourite past-time in a warm and welcoming inn. Guests are invited to enjoy the delicious food and drinks on offer including craft beers from the Upham Brewery – whilst admiring the impressive range of vehicles on show.

General Manager at The George Inn, Laurie Creighton, says: “This is one of the highlights in The George Inn’s busy events calendar, with 3,000 visitors from far and wide visiting last year. It’s amazing to see so many car enthusiasts and members of our local community join together for what is always an incredible day.

“There really is something for everyone on the day – whether or not customers are lucky enough to own a vehicle, there’ll definitely receive a friendly welcome, great food and delicious drinks from The George Inn…we can’t wait!”
